Shane Mackie

(SHmack That Glass)

Shane Mackie is a Vancouver-based artist specializing in glass art and woodworking. His practice focuses on harnessing the earths elements to  create wearable, functional art that exists at the intersection of craftsmanship and personal expression. Each piece is designed as a statement—objects meant not only to be used, but to be experienced and worn as an extension of identity.

Working with both glass and wood allows shane to explore contrasts between fragility and strength, transparency and grain. Through careful shaping and design, he transforms traditional materials into contemporary statement pieces.

Zoë Originals

My art work expresses femininity through pastel colour palettes, women’s bodies, and playful pop art. I’ve always been drawn to artwork that feels unapologetically girly, and I aim to bring that same energy into my paintings. Alongside canvas work, I’ve explored different mediums including shoes, clothing, props, and murals, and I enjoy taking on projects that allow me to experiment and learn new skills.

Sheena Chawla

Sheena Chawla is an abstract artist working with textile, fabric, threadwork, and acrylic on canvas. Working with layered materials and intuitive mark-making, she traces the invisible emotional threads that shape memory, identity, and human connection. Originally from India and currently based in Vancouver, her practice is rooted in personal introspection and the belief that art can function as a space for reflection and healing.

Her layered abstract compositions evoke states of tension, vulnerability, and quiet resilience. Drawing from experiences of inner child work, emotional release, and the process of unlearning inherited narratives, her work invites viewers to encounter their own emotional landscapes through color, texture, and movement rather than literal representation.

Sheena’s work has been presented in both solo and group exhibitions, and her evolving practice continues to explore new ways of bringing together art, emotional inquiry, and collective experience.

Brian Corber

I am an abstract expressionist landscape artist and a member of the Portal Artists Society from Vancouver, BC. I graduated with a Bachelors of  Visual Fine Art from the University of Calgary in 2007 with a focus in painting and printmaking. My practice attempts to express life’s ephemeral moments of natural beauty; flowers in bloom, forests backlit by the sunset, aurora borealis, or the way light dances on the water or reflects off of glass buildings. A major theme in my work is exploring humanity’s relationships with the environment around us; urban lifestyles being fuelled by natural resources leaving less and less untouched nature and the effect this has on the individual. I have a deep connection to the coastal mountains of British Columbia and Vancouver’s vast rainforests, imposing mountains, layered misty tree lines and mountain valleys.

With an emphasis on expression; I focus on bold brush strokes, splatters, colour, and composition to allow the images to develop naturally from a meditative flow state. As a child of the 80s and 90s I am naturally drawn to bright neons and vivid colours, street art, and bold patterns. I explore that enthusiasm with mixed media painting, especially, custom mixed glow in the dark pigments to create works that come to life with extra depth due the way they both emit and reflect light.  Life is a beautiful chaotic mix of perspectives, there is always a plurality to everything, the bright neon colours in my work can represent illumination, or man made destruction  — sunsets, or toxic waste. It is my hope that the viewer will stop to ponder what they are seeing, what images are hidden in the abstract forms and make their own personal connections to the work.

Through art, I aim to inspire thought, evoke emotion, and create a space for introspection. Painting has become both a meditative practice and a way to slow down in a world that constantly demands instant gratification.
